Julie Harris leads IWSR as CEO, bringing a wealth of experience from Executive roles across diverse industries. Her expertise spans consumer media, business data & insights, trend forecasting and comparison platforms. This multi-faceted background includes leading organisations such as the customer acquisition specialist Comparison Technologies, the consumer exhibitions company Upper Street Events and WGSN, the Global leader in Fashion and Retail trend forecasting.
Julie currently serves on the Board of Which? Ltd and was previously a Board Director of Hyve Group PLC.
Julie joined IWSR in September 2023 and leverages her extensive experience to guide the company's future strategic direction.
Chief Financial Officer
Dan Medlock is CFO at IWSR. He has over 15 years of experience in finance and operations, working in fast-growing and innovative businesses in the data & technology sectors. Prior to IWSR he was CFO/COO of Phrasee, a leading AI business. Prior to that he was part of the leadership team at Streetbees, an AI-driven data & insights business, and BT's UK cybersecurity arm. He started his career with KPMG in audit & corporate finance.
Dan joined IWSR in February 2024 and brings his diverse experience to lead the company's financial operations and strategy execution.
Chief Commercial Officer
Damien McInerny is CCO at IWSR, drawing on his breadth of experience in leading sales, marketing and client services teams in the business information industry. His expertise spans clients large and small, from all sectors and across all continents. This extensive background includes sales and commercial leadership roles at organisations such as Ovum, Datamonitor and 451 Research.
Damien joined IWSR in January 2018 and leverages his in-depth experience to lead the commercial teams in developing the company’s propositions and portfolio of services, ensuring clients maximise the value of their engagement with IWSR.

Emily Neill is COO of Research & Operations at IWSR, bringing extensive experience in research and market insights across the global consumer goods industry. Her expertise spans industry research, data analytics and forecasting, market insights and BI product development.
Previously CEO of Canadean (Globaldata Consumer), Emily joined IWSR in March 2018 and leverages her wide-ranging expertise to drive strategic initiatives and operational excellence.
Chief Operating Officer Consumer Insights and Custom Analytics
Richard Halstead is COO of Consulting and Consumer Research, calling on over 20 years' experience as a consumer behaviour expert in the global beverage industry. Richard co-founded Wine Intelligence, the market leader for wine consumer data, and led the company’s operations for 20 years, before it was acquired by IWSR in 2020.
Richard is a Certified Member of the Market Research Society and holds an MBA with distinction from London Business School.
Richard joined IWSR in December 2020 and draws on his extensive experience to develop the consumer insight and consulting functions to support and drive clients’ strategic decision making.
Chief Technology Officer
David Green is CTO at IWSR and brings extensive technology experience in software development across various industries. His expertise spans sports betting, finance & Formula One and includes rising to CTO of a multi-billion-pound turnover high frequency trading company as well as a stint building a new data analytics platform for a world-famous F1 team.
David joined IWSR in May 2022 and is using his extensive experience to transform the role technology plays in delivering IWSR's data and intelligence to its customers.
Chief Data Officer
Andy Noble is Chief Data and Product Officer at IWSR, bringing over 25 years of experience from data product leadership roles across multiple industries. This multi-faceted background of building and managing data product and transformation teams, includes his role as Head of Data for DMG Media (the owner of the Daily Mail, The i, and The New Scientist) and a number of technology and transformation roles within the DMGT portfolio across industries including Property, Commercial Finance and Energy Generation & Transmission.
Andy joined IWSR in July 2022 and uses his extensive expertise to lead the data teams and develop IWRS's proprietary data, forecasting and insight products.
President IWSR US
Marten Lodewijks is the President of IWSR US, bringing a wealth of experience from strategy and insights roles at numerous Global multinationals. His expertise is in growth strategy in the beverage alcohol space, having held senior positions at SABMiller and then AB-InBev as well as Monitor Deloitte prior to that.
Marten joined in March 2023 and draws upon his deep industry expertise to develop and implement IWSR’s strategy in the critical US market.
Chief Product Officer
Xian Wang is Chief Product Officer at IWSR. Prior to joining IWSR, Xian led global strategy and product, including the data, research, tech and digital platform offering, at Flywheel Retail Insights, focusing on digital commerce go-to-market strategy across CPG/FMCG sectors. Before that, she was at an investment research firm, supporting buy-side investors in identifying investment opportunities and monitoring their portfolios, following roles in private equity and investment banking M&A at Goldman Sachs.
Xian Wang joined in November 2024 with the aim to define IWSR's product strategy, vision for the future, and product roadmap.
